Several states now require regular testing of staff in long-term care facilities (nursing homes and assisted living), with more to follow suit.

For instance, New York nursing homes and adult care facilities must test staff for COVID-19 twice a week.

Also, New Jersey issued a similar testing directive for long-term care facilities. Connecticut and Pennsylvania are finalizing similar plans.

Nursing Home Testing Compliance

Mobile Health’s COVID-19 Screening Program helps nursing homes comply with new testing regulations.

Our trained medical workers deliver the following services on-site at your facility or one of our New York clinics:

  • Temperature Screenings: Ensures employees/visitors don’t show symptoms of COVID-19.
  • COVID-19 PCR Testing: The nasal swab tests employees/visitors for active infection. Consequently, an employer, with a relative degree of certainty, can determine if an employee/visitor is currently infected with COVID-19. Results returned within 24-48 hours.
  • Antibody Testing: Tests employees for previous infection and possible immunity. Antibodies tell you if a person has been exposed in the past to COVID-19. Results returned within two to three days.
  • Record of Results: Download staff test results from our client portal.

If you complete our COVID-19 Request Form, we will contact you within 24 hours to customize a screening program to meet your facility’s needs.

Return to Work with Confidence

This may be new terrain for you, but not for us. We’ve delivered employee pre-screening solutions for thirty-five years. That includes testing for pulmonary infectious diseases (tuberculosis) and antibody testing (HepB).

Also, we monitor nursing home screening regulations from the CDC and other sources.

Besides Mobile Health’s COVID-19 Screening Program for nursing homes, we’ll soon roll out other Return to Work programs.
